The anti-corrosion coupling of the sucker rod is a newly developed tool by our company for preventing eccentric wear of sucker rods in oil extraction wells. It has the characteristics of simple structure, easy use, long service life, and relatively low cost. Suitable for pumping wells with eccentric wear, especially for pumping wells with eccentric wear above the midpoint of the sucker rod and directional deviated wells.
  • Detailed Description

The anti-corrosion coupling of the sucker rod is a newly developed tool by our company for preventing eccentric wear of sucker rods in oil extraction wells. It has the characteristics of simple structure, easy use, long service life, and relatively low cost. Suitable for pumping wells with eccentric wear, especially for pumping wells with eccentric wear above the midpoint of the sucker rod and directional deviated wells. Below the midpoint of the sucker rod, when combined with the nylon stabilizer on the sucker rod body, the anti eccentric wear effect is better.

Structural characteristics

The technical core of this coupling is to coat Ni60 alloy powder on the surface of the sucker rod coupling with a special surface treatment process, obtaining a wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and low friction coefficient coating with a thickness greater than 0.25mm. Its wear resistance is more than 10 times that of ordinary couplings, reducing the amount of oil pipe wear by about 3 times.

a、 Has significant self-protection effect: The Ni60 alloy powder coating ensures that the coupling maintains excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance in the complex working environment underground. The composition, organizational structure, and hardness of the coating differ greatly from those of the tubing, preventing and delaying the occurrence of initial adhesive wear. The high hardness of the coating enhances the coupling's ability to resist abrasive wear.

b、 The Ni60 alloy powder coating has a good protective effect on oil pipes: the unique wear-resistant element (ε phase) in the coating uniformly transfers and adheres to the surface of the oil pipe in a sheet-like manner during the friction process between the coating and the oil pipe, forming solid lubrication, protecting and slowing down the wear of the oil pipe surface, while reducing the friction coefficient between the coupling and the oil pipe, playing a role in reducing friction.
